05 - 07 - 2012 J.-Co. school evacuated 2nd time over possible bomb threat
(LS) Around 11am Friday morning students at the Juniata Co. High School were evacuated as a 2nd note threatening of a possible bomb in the school was found by a student. State Police brought in their canine unit & searched the school until 3:15 pm. Students were sent to Tuscarora Jr. High gym during the search, & were dismissed at the end of the search. This follows a Monday bomb threat that occurred & school officials feel Friday’s incident was a “copy-cat”. They said individuals found causing the threats face serious consequences.
