02 - 14 - 2012 Rt. 35 lane restrictions begin in Mifflin this Thursday
Area drivers will encounter a lane restriction Thursdayon Rt. 35 in Mifflin borough. Crews will be working to set beams for the new bridge that spans the railroad. Motorists will encounter an alternating traffic pattern on Rt. 35 between Mowery & Parker Sts. in Mifflin. On Friday, drivers can expect slowed traffic in the same area as more beams are delivered. No lane restriction will be in place but traffic may be slow moving. Motorists should be alert for flaggers & signage along the roadway during the lane restriction & equipment move. This work is part of the $16 million Rt. 35 Juniata River bridge project that is expected to be complete in 2013.
