12 - 28 - 2011 Monday crash near New Berlin injures 2 Mifflinburg women
Police say 2 people were taken to the hospital after a crash Monday afternoon near New Berlin. State police say 71-y/o Mary Hackenberg of Mifflinburg swerved to avoid hitting a deer on Rt. 304, striking & knocking down a utility pole. Hackenberg & her passenger, 68-y/o Virginia Magyar, also of Mifflinburg, were treated for moderate injuries. New Berlin Fire Department assisted state police at the scene of the crash that occurred around 5:50pm.
