12 - 15 - 2011 Alcohol a factor in a Belleville crash, sending vehicle airborne
(LS) The 21-y/o male driver from Mt. Union, who's identity will be release after DUI & other charges are filed, failed to make a curve on S. Kishacoquillas St. in Belleville. That led to him overcompensating his Chevy pickup & crashing through the yards of 2 residents, damaging landscapting & a fire hydrant. The truck came to rest in one of the yards after twice going airborne & striking a tree root which tore off the rear wheels of the vehicle. The accident happened near Susan Dr. where police found the driver to be under the influence. He was treated at Lewistown Hospital after refusing medical treatment on the scene.
