10 - 13 - 2011 Convicted shooter appeals decision & loses his attorney
(LS) Charles Trimmer, who was convicted & sentenced for shooting his neighbor--Darren Parys--over a right of way dispute, will appeal his case. His legal cousel, Brian Perry, also has filed a request to withdraw from the case. This means Trimmer will have a new attorney who will go through with the appeal process. This move was expected by the Mifflin Co. DA, Steve Snook who said, "I thought the trial was a very clean trial ... I believe there isn't any trial error". Trimmer shot & killed Parys after the pair disputed a property line separating the 2 neighbors.
