05 - 05 - 2011 Dog Law enforcement to take place in Mifflin Co. next week
The Department of Agricultureâs Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement will canvass Mifflin Co. next week starting on May 9th, as part of its efforts to ensure PA's dogs are licensed, vaccinated & safe. State law requires that all dogs 3 months of age and older be licensed by Jan. 1 of each year. Additionally, rabies vaccinations are required for all dogs & any cat (that enters a human dwelling) over 3 months of age. All dogs must be under control & are not permitted to run-at-large. Complaints may be reported to State Dog Law Enforcement Officer Melissa Bair at 527-4016.
