02 - 18 - 2011 Police believe Line Mt. girl was bullied before her death
(DI) State police have seized the computer of a Line Mountain student whose death Wednesday set off a social networking website that as of midnight last night had more than 3,000 members, many of whom alleged she was bullied. Northumberland Co. Coroner James Kelley, Line Mountain School District Superintendent, & state police refused to identify the 17-y/o because she is a juvenile. A Facebook page was created to honor the Trevorton girl, but several minutes after the page was initiated, comments about her became vulgar. Other commentators objected to the crude messages, bemoaning that the girl was being bullied in death.
