02 - 11 - 2011 Aggressive drivers to be targeted starting on Monday
PennDOT announced yesterday that an aggressive-driving enforcement wave, made possible with part of a $2.1 million statewide investment, will run from Valentineâs Day-March 27. This investment of federal dollars will aid PA State & municipal police not only in Central PA, but also statewide in efforts to curb aggressive driving throughout the year in a nationwide crackdown. Police across Central PA will look for aggressive driving behaviors such as speeding, tailgating & running red lights or stop signs. In PA, more than 300 municipal police departments & the PA State Police will participate in this wave, the first of 3 this year.
