PennDOT urges teen drivers to avoid deadly distractionsâsuch texting & talking on cell phonesâ& reminds parents of young drivers to always set a good example by driving safely. Governor Ed. Rendell proclaimed this week as Teen Driver Safety Week to coincide with the national observance. PennDOT Secretary Allen D. Biehler said that driving "must be your primary focus at all times when youâre behind the wheel".
