03 - 29 - 2010 Young teenage boy life-flighted after Friday car crash
The 13-y/o juvenile boy was in the back seat of a mini-van when it was hit by a truck hauling an empty dump trailer during the noon hour Friday along Rt. 655. The accident happened at the Knepp Rd. intersection in Menno Twp. after the mini-van stopped at the intersection but then pulled out in front of the truck, which was unable to brake in time. The van spun into a field after the truckâs front end hit the vanâs rear passenger fender. The 17-y/o driver & a 16-y/o passenger were not injured & all were wearing seatbelts.
