10 - 14 - 2013 Fatal crash overnight Sunday in Huntingdon Co.
HENDERSON TOWNSHIP, Huntingdon County â A late-night accident Sunday claimed the life of one person in a two-vehicle crash on William Penn Highway in Henderson Township, according to state police in Huntingdon. A driver, whose identity had not been released by police, was traveling west on Penn Highway near Pike Run Drive just before midnight Saturday when the personâs car hit a deer, causing the car to cross the center line and crash into an eastbound car, driven by a 55-year-old man. The first driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driverâs name or condition was not released by police.
