10 - 09 - 2013 Weekend Beavertown crash nets charges against Middletown man
[CCN] - A Middleburg man is facing a slew of charges following a weekend drunken crash in Snyder Co. State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning along Market Street in Beavertown. The driver was 31-year-old Jedidiah Hood. Hood was found to be driving under the influence, but he refused any sobriety tests. When troopers tried to arrest him, he allegedly failed to comply and started physically fighting the officers. Hood was eventually taken into custody, although he refused any blood tests. He is being charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and several traffic offenses.
