08 - 22 - 2013 Accused armed robbers waive charges into court
LEWISTOWN - Two men, one from Baltimore and one from Harrisburg, who allegedly robbed a Burnham resident at gunpoint appeared at District Judge Jack Miller's office for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday and waived their charges into court. Demont C. Hodo, 22, of Baltimore and Donnie Wright, 26, of Harrisburg are charged with robbery and other related offenses, they both remain incarcerated in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. Molek said both defendants are being sought by other law enforcement agencies for unrelated crimes in different counties and Wright is also being sought by a law enforcement agency out of state. Both defendants are expected to have a formal arraignment in the Mifflin County Court of Common Pleas in September. Hodo and Wright allegedly went to a residence on June 18 on South Walnut Street in Burnham where Hodo displayed a firearm and robbed Daniel Foxx of approximately $1,300, police said. Police said the money and the firearm used in the incident have been recovered.
