05 - 13 - 2013 Police arrest teen on 2 felony charges from stolen firearm
LEWISTOWN - A 19-year-old was arrested and charged with two felonies Thursday after the Mifflin County Junior High and High schools were burglarized and a firearm was stolen from a vehicle on West Cedar Lane and Logan Boulevard. Police said Calin Pierce, of Lewistown, was charged with felony criminal trespass and felony theft of a firearm after police determined he broke windows at Mifflin County High and Junior High schools and later stole a firearm from a parked car on a neighboring street. According to the report, damage for the combined incidents totals around $5,000. Police said Pierce was arraigned at District Judge Aaron Gingrich's office with bail being set at $10,000. Police said Pierce was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility on a probation detainer.
