03 - 14 - 2013 Midd-West High evacuated 2nd time in a month over bomb threat
MIDDLEBURG - A bomb threat at Midd-West High School led to evacuation for students and staff Wednesday, marking the second such incident to occur in a little more than a month, Middleburg Police Department reports. Wednesday's incident occurred at 11:47 am, when police were contacted by school administration and informed that the threat was received via written communication indicating the possibility of a bomb placed inside the school. A Union County bomb dog was brought in to conduct a search of the high school, and students remained in the designated safe zone until the search was completed.
