MIDDLEBURG - An active homicide investigation is ongoing in Snyder County after a stabbing incident that claimed one life and left another person injured early Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Bonnie Snook, 71, of 1542 Creek Road, Middleburg, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Selinsgrove. Her husband, Dale W. Snook, also was injured during the altercation. The incident occurred around 4 am. Sunday at the Snook residence. The report states one person of interest has been placed in the Snyder County Jail on a state parole violation. State Police Trooper Brent Bobb said Sunday there is a second person in custody - the wife of the first suspect - who is being held on burglary, theft and other charges related to the incident.
